His ground-breaking film about Pike won numerous awards and footage has been featured on various programmes including the BBC blue chip series 'The Nature of Britain' He has written articles for mainstream magazines including BBC Wildlife, held TV and Radio interviews and has worked as a freelance cameraman for the BBC natural history unit, Japans NHK Europe channel and CBBC's popular 'Deadly 60' programme. Pieter Huisman has a
background in documentaries, having filmed in over 30 countries since 1998. He
enjoys working as part of team, as well as on projects that require
self-motivation and an independent mindset. Pieter’s love for nature,
determination and patience are endless. Skills include using extreme telephoto
lenses, macro, underwater, infrared nocturnal and remote controlled cameras. He
is also proficient as an editor and colourist. References include Channel 4,
Animal Planet and National Geographic. As of 2010, Pieter uses both the
Netherlands and New Zealand as base camps.

Biologist, writer, and cameraman, Darryl has lived and worked in Thailand since 1996. He speaks, reads, and writes Thai. Darryl has extensive experience of looking for and filming Thai wildlife and most often this involves spending long periods in hides and camping in the forest, which is something he loves. From Oct 2007 to March 2010 Darryl was a regular contributor to www.earth-touch.com (Wild Touch - SABC2), and some of his work can be viewed in the Thailand section of their website.
