Laura Turner is
creative editor and camera operator with a passion for wildlife. After
completing her degree in Media and Video Production, Laura trained at MATV
regional news. She has worked on wildlife film in Scotland and was the in-house
editor for CTV Perth, Australia, where a conservation documentary she edited
won a WA Screen Award. Laura is happy shooting footage in a variety of
environments, and has filmed whilst dangling on the end of a rope during an
abseil, up trees, and in the middle of a flowing waterfall in the depths of a
Derbyshire cave! She is a PADI trained Scuba Diver to Advanced open water
level, where she completed courses in night dives, deep diving and underwater
photography. Laura is Apple certified in Final Cut Pro, and an experienced
Premiere Pro user. She is currently freelancing in the UK and abroad, as well
working as an editor on the Wildeye Big Cat Film Safari in the Masai Mara, Kenya. |
